I hope you had a wonderful Halloween, whether you were cosy indoors with a scary film or went all out with fancy dress and endless blood thirsty cocktails. I haven't dressed up in the longest time and needless to say I had a really enjoyable night. Today however has been filled with copious amounts of tea, blankets and Adele's Hello on repeat while I get a few posts ready for November.
If you read my Boohoo HallowOUT post you would know that Boohoo sent me a few goodies to accompany me this Halloween. A few of you were interested in how it all turned out, especially with the limited edition Elegant Touch Vampire Kiss nails - so here I am with a little update! They are the perfect addition to any Halloween outfit, they're long, pointy and the blood splattered effect is just so fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the nails were to apply and there was definitely no way they were going to budge all night. In fact they were an absolute nightmare to get off - but luckily they didn't harm my nails too much at all. I will definitely be repurchasing Elegant Touch nails in the future as their selection is huge with so many beautiful patterns and finishes (along with the remover this time!).
I opted for a witchy look in the end, with the use of two pots of glitter to create a glittery mask over my eyes, I really loved the outcome and was pretty impressed with myself considering I basically just winged it. The falsies were not overly noticeable but definitely added the extra attention to my eyes. The Sleek true colour lipstick in Mulberry had a lovely look once applied however it's not a formula I was fond of as I had to re-apply throughout the night and ended up having it down my chin on several occasions! Oh, and the green hair chalk that I mentioned before - it didn't work, the bottle was empty after a few sprays and the results were well, non existent!
Let me know what you got up to this Halloween.
