London Photo Diary: Among The Leaves

Yet another London post - I just couldn't help but snap away like a crazy woman strolling the streets while crunchy leaves fell at my feet. I'm not sure I've been to London during Autumn before, there was a chill in the air and I was on constant alert to explore while being in my favourite city. My boyfriend and I stayed with his lovely family for a few days as Jack was receiving his Gold Duke Of Edinburgh Award at St James' Palace (hi Prince Phillip if you're reading...). So today I thought I would share with you what we got up to in between and share the autumnal vibes we felt whilst being among the leaves.

St James' Park was so serene, squirrels running about, golden leaves scattered along the floor and swans and ducks gliding along beside you as you walk on by. We sat and admired the scenery for what seemed a long time but I was loving every second. We wondered around outside Buckingham Palace, walked up towards the Houses Of Parliament and Big Ben - all the touristy stuff. We also went to Oxford Street, it was jammed full of people but I was loving that everything was on the cusp of festivities. I forget how massive every shop is like Topshop and Lush - I always feel quite overwhelmed because it's not what I'm used to at home, too much choice for me to handle! How beautiful does the Lush store look though? It was a little slice of heaven in that shop I tell you! I also fell slightly in love with Liberty London, the flower stall was beautiful.

On our last day we stopped off at Bill's, I've heard so much about this place and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Inside has such a homely atmosphere, it's beautifully decorated with miss-match furniture and hanging decor. We both had the mac and cheese and it was just delicious - I would definitely recommend! We also caught a few of our friends we met while travelling across North America and it was just perfect to be reunited while we stuffed our faces with Nandos and caught up. We finished it all off by finding Snog in Soho and treated ourselves to frozen yoghurt - I had milk chocolate with brownie and caramel topping, it was insane.

Where's your favourite place to go in Autumn?
