Teatox Favourites

Teas are one of my favourite things. If you're craving a bit of comfort I always find tea does the job but it can also be the perfect kick-start for the new year. Over the last few months a couple of tea companies were interested in sending me a few of their teas. I thought this could make the perfect post to share with my fellow tea-drinkers - so let's dive in...

Slendertoxtea*

Slendertoxtea is a online health and supplements company, with the aim to provide natural and healthy products to assist you with a healthy balanced diet. I was kindly sent over the 14 Day Teatox, which includes daytime tea and bedtime tea. The tea is 100% herbal, detox organic tea and a wonderful way to detox your body - especially after Christmas!

"The tea helps to break down fatty deposits that adhere to the gastrointestinal tract enabling it to work more efficiently within a short period of time you may find that you have: less bloating, increased metabolism and a new detoxed you".

I probably lost 4 lbs in a week while drinking these teas but I didn't end up drinking them for the whole two weeks due to reading the instructions wrong. It definitely slimmed down my stomach, and I wasn't feeling half as bloated as before - so definitely worth a try!

It's certainly an ideal solution to banish those stubborn Christmas lbs and get motivated for the new year.

T+Boost*

T+Boost also got in touch with me recently and requested if I'd be interested in trying their range. Their whole selection looked so delicious, so of course I couldn't say no. Packed full of natural fruits, with an addition of vitamins C and B giving you the perfect boost during these January blues.

The green tea is packed full of goodness, ready to kick start your "new year, new me" - if that's what you're into. Otherwise, it's a perfect addition to your green tea collection - I think my parents are getting a little pissed that I'm taking up the cupboards with these yummies, among others!

I was sent over the Raspberry & Pomegranate, alongside the Apple & Blackberry boxes and my gosh, they're dreamy. I love fruity teas and I've been drinking them nearly everyday, even people at work we're wanting a taste. They're a lovely subtle fruity taste, not too over powering and you can really taste their goodness.

Twinings: Orange & Lotus Flower Green Tea

Yeah, about my green tea collection... this has to be one of my favourites. Twinings provides a ton of flavours to choose from and Orange and Lotus Flower is really up there. It has a beautiful oriental taste, creating a fresh and delicious taste for an afternoon brew - a good blob of honey always goes down a treat too.

Twinings source their tea from the best tea plants from around the world, they're proud of their range of creative blends of green tea, from cherry bakewell to gingerbread - I just want to try them all!

Green tea really is perfect for adding into your routine, it's packed with antioxidants and nutrients which helps improve your health. It also helps fat burning, reduces your risk of cancer and gives you so much more energy to help you reach your goals of 2016.

Tell me your favourite feel-good teas, I'll be sure to add them to my collection!

  7. I've never tried any of these tea diets as, like Amy above, I've always been a bit worried of side effects! Glad they helped you out and maybe they'll be something I look into once all the Christmas chocolates have gone ;) x Rebecca - itscohen.co.uk

  8. I've been drinking a lot more tea than coffee lately, so it's always good to discover new kinds! I've tried MateFit and Skinny Bee Tea detox teas, and they were great! Green teas are much easier on the stomach than teas that contain senna, though!

  9. I don't like the thought of a tea for losing weight, but the T+ Boost teas sound so great for the winter months! x

  15. Great post and reviews. I previously did the bootea teatox and loved how great it made my stomach feel. There is also something about drinking the teas that just makes you feel healthy and fit anyway I find :) xo
