Thanks God January is over. It's a month where my anxiety sky rockets, I eat a shit ton of food and I just want to fall into a deep sleep (for a week). February is the month of new years resolutions - who's with me?
My cacti family is growing by the day and it has to be said, they're pretty great. They make such a great addition to my room and they are always there to add a little something extra to my blog photos - so shout out to my catci fam!
Photographs are pretty special. Collecting photos definitely makes me happy and storing them in pretty ways is always a fun little project!
4. Music in bed
Music in bed is one of my favourite things at the moment, and also in the morning when I'm getting ready for the day. Tom Rosenthal is my obsession right now, so chilled and his lyrics are so so good - give them a listen, you will love him!
5. Lush baths
Nothing beats a Lush bath bomb, soap, scrub, face mask - I could go on... all of your stresses soon disappear into a rainbow of colour and shimmery goodness.
6. A good book
I'm finally back into reading. I bought myself Girl Boss - late to the party, I know! But it's seriously inspirational, and man why can't I be Sophia Amoruso? What a woman. P.S. Try this with a Lush bath - works wonders.
7. The cold
Sometimes it can be so sad to get up in the cold, but once you're up and breathe that fresh air into your lungs - you soon feel alive again, as long as it's not too cold, come on...
8. Flavoured coffee
Damn. Flavoured coffee, you are my favourite. Whether it's a vanilla latte from Starbucks or Beanies Double Chocolate instant coffee, I'm all for it. And it makes me super happy.
9. Cream eggs
Cream eggs are back, that is all.
10. Visiting friends
While you read this I will be on my way back from Newcastle. I'm going to visit my friend and also going to explore Edinburgh, so keep your eyes peeled for a travel post very soon.
