Farewell Frizz: Revlon Perfectionist 2 In 1 Dryer Review

The Revlon Perfectionist 2 In 1 Dryer* was a product I was excited about from the get go. I have been using a seriously old school Revlon hairdryer for as long as I can remember, but it's super heavy, takes a life time to dry my frizz bomb and also results in the 'Hagrid' hairstyle coming back to say hello.

This product boasts the power of a dryer with the smoothing effect of a paddle brush, creating a quick blow dry and tackles that damn frizz. It was something I HAD to get my hands on - this frizz needs to be stopped.

I wasn't sure what to expect because my hair is certainly very thick, slightly uncontrollable and many days I do wonder if I should just shave it all off...

But when this beauty came into my life, drying my hair had never been easier. The cushioned paddle brush glides easily through thick hair, dries the hair fast and all you need is one hand - so you can get browsing Instagram on the other, obviously.

I was impressed; my hair was half the size it usually is after using my retro hairdryer. Plus, it was feeling smooth and silky which makes a huge change. My hair still remained quite voluminous, but it tamed my frizz down so much that I could easily get away without straightening my barnet.

Pros

  • It's lightweight
  • Easy to use, including drying the back of your hair
  • Affordable (at around £30)
  • Comes in a great storable box
  • Creates a smooth finish
  • Provides 2 heat settings and a cooling option
  • Flexible tangle-free bristles and massaging ball tips
  • It has a tangle-free swivel cord
  • 3 year guarantee
  • Perfect for long, thick and frizzy hair

Cons

  • It's quite a big size and can be hard to hold at times
  • May still need to straighten the hair, to create a sleek look

I really cannot recommend this hairdryer enough, it's been a total game changer within my hair care, saving so much time.

  3. I've been seeing these hair brush hair dryer products about and I'm really interested - this seems brilliant, I have quite frizzy hair that sort of ends up in a triangle shape once done blow drying, so maybe I'll give this a go!
