Debenhams wanted me to share with you my style challenge - so here goes!
With their huge selection of occasion dresses, I was overwhelmed with the possibilities. Do I go for something out of my comfort zone? A dress which reaches the floor? Or a simple number? In the end, I went for the Little Mistress Black Embroidered Tunic* - it's right up my street and I thought it would be a great addition to my wardrobe now the sun is beginning to shine.
This floaty dress is so beautiful, it's made so delicately with colourful sequins, creating a stunning embroidered focus piece. When it arrived I wasn't disappointed, instantly thinking this would be great for work evening events and also day-time events such as a family get-together or a summer bbq.
Let's take a look at how you could style this outfit from day to night...
This dress pairs perfectly with my Topshop MOTO denim jacket, creating a lovely feminine feel during spring time. Sometimes it's great to add a little edge to an outfit, so I popped on my Bebo cut-out platform sandals which I've had since last year - I love the style of them.
I recently picked up these Primark sunglasses, with a round shape - overall I was pretty pleased after throwing this outfit together. I also finished off the outfit with my Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield watch, which you can check out below.
For evening wear, this dress works amazingly alone with my simple New Look black pumps. I also added a pop of red to the lips to compliment the sequin detailing - Mac's Ruby Woo if you were wondering (such a fave!). Debenhams also gifted me this beautiful heart shaped necklace with crystal detailing, which I haven't taken off since it arrived!
What do you think of the dress - and what outfit do you like best?
