Have Something To Look Forward To: 12 Things

Hey. I hope you are having a lovely day, I hope it's sunny where you are or that you're wrapping your hand around a hot bevvy and feeling content. If not, I've got twelve things to make you feel a little brighter. I always feel like having activities, outings or feelings to look forward to instantly makes things better. Knowing that an exciting or pleasant day is just around the corner can change your mood in a second and those dull days don't seem so hard anymore.

Book a mini break

Nothing gets me more excited than travelling to somewhere new. Experiencing culture, people watching, feasting upon treats and snapping away is just my favourite!

Plan a picnic

Grab your friends, your dog, perhaps a dude off of the street, Tesco discounted cheese and a lonely grass patch and have a good time. Set a date and be there, you won't regret it.

Ring a friend and plan what you will do when you catch up next

We all get busy, which means sometimes it can be months without chatting to one of your close friends. Ring them and get planning what you will get up to. Food is usually my answer, and there's nothing more I look forward to than that great combo!

Gain inspiration from magazines

Maybe you're a blogger, then get inspired and plan some future content. Magazines are a great source of ideas, this way you can look forward to your next creation. Or maybe you're on the look out for fashion inspiration?

Get creative with lists

Make a list for every area of your life. A shopping list, your goals, what you're going to take to the next car boot sale, whatever is it - get organised.

Plan tomorrow's outfit

I never do this, if only I was that organised. But I'm sure knowing exactly what you're going to wear tomorrow or to an event will get you ready to take on the day.

Write a 5 year plan

Who knows what the future will hold.

Plan a day off

So you've booked holiday off, but what are you going to do with it?

Step out of your comfort zone

Plan something you'd never dream of doing, or maybe fight your worst fears! Parachute anyone? Nah, me neither...

Book a table at your favourite restaurant

Again, with the food.

Have a pamper night

Maybe you have a stressful day ahead but knowing a night of face masks and candles is on the cards is only good news.

Buy a new book

Whether it's for those slouchy evenings in bed or you're holiday planning, a good book can do wonders.

Online shop

Because if twelve things don't work out, at least you can always rely on online shopping to put a smile on your face. I mean, knowing that an ASOS parcel is going to arrive at your door in a matter of days is just peachy - am I right?
What are you looking forward to?
