I have always been a huge fan of Lush Cosmetics, every time I pop in town I always peek inside to see what goodies I can take home with me. I usually walk away with a grin on my face as I can guarantee my next few baths are set to be heaven in a tub.
Although I always reach for bath products, for months now I keep seeing Lush's Tea Tree Water popping up. This is my first skincare product from Lush I have tried, and I cannot help but think - why have I waited this long?
The toner water comes in aid of skin that has emergencies (me me me). Tea tree is a wonder antibacterial, antiseptic and antimicrobial ingredient for anyone with oily or spot prone skin (me me me!). I was pretty much sold at first sight.
You simply close your eyes and spray the toner water over your face. I like to grab a cotton pad and wipe away the water and excess dirt after washing my face, leaving you feeling refreshed and clean.
You can also use the toner any time of day for a quick refresher - win!
The tea tree oil works by clarifying and creating an antibacterial action for those with problem skin types. I suffer terribly from acne prone skin, although it has improved in recent years I still experience problems especially around my chin. This has been a life saver, my skin has improved in only a few weeks of usage and I have already received compliments about how clear my skin is looking.
The toner's also contains juniperberry and grapefuit water, additional elements to make your skin refreshed while also bringing necessary minerals directly to the skin and reducing oil.
While reading reviews on Lush's website, I also spotted someone who said they spray this toner on their pillow before they go to sleep. This is such a great idea as a clean pillow is so important to keeping your skin clean, so those antibacterial qualities of the toner can only be a benefit during the night.
At only £8.50 for 250g, I'll certainly be back for more.
