11 Ways To Get Your Shit Together For 2017

If you love stationery and getting your list on, you're in the right place. Firstly, how cute is this 2017 Busy B diary and secondly HAVE YOU SEEN THESE OJ STICKERS? It's clear I'm very excited... but I have to say I'm quite happy to see the back of 2016; nothing particularly exciting happened yet nothing terrible happened either, I was just happily plodding along and I still am. But it's time to get my shit together; get organised and get busy.

Busy B gifted me this diary with a gorgeous floral print. All of their designs are super pretty and they are also really affordable too. Which makes them a perfect gift for Christmas or a great little treat for yourself!

This one is perfect for me as it has your personal schedule on one side and a place for notes and reminders on the other. There's also little storage flaps throughout the diary, a list section at the back and a place to keep your pen. It fits perfectly in my handbag and I can't wait to put it to good use.

I also teamed up with Sticker App to design my own stickers. I was online for hours trying to design my sticker sheet! I spoke to Val from Good Objects who creates beautiful illustrations and asked if she would be happy for me to use her designs. She said yes and I am so happy with how they came out.

These will be the perfect addition to my diary - I can already tell that I'm going to have so much fun adding them to my note sections, lame much? I also had personalised OJ stickers made, which is my blog's logo and I'm super happy with them. I've been handing them out to people at work, to friends and family but I'm not really sure what they're going to do with them but hey - it's fun!

So, here's a few things you can do to get your shit together for 2017...

Buy a diary, obvs
If you're like me, a diary is essential. I'm a list person and writing things down puts my mind in order, let's me plan and you can make it as fun as you like. Although, I've not quite got to the bullet journal... let me know if you do this!

Set yourself goals
I have no idea what goals I'm going to set for 2017 but a couple of things I know I want to do more of is plan exciting things like holidays, learn new things, save money to move out and also get on a little health kick.

Don't worry about what anyone else thinks
Do what makes you happy, remind yourself that nothing else matters more than that.

Hold on to the good people, let go of the toxic people
This is when guilt can sink in but you have to do what's best for your mental health. Being surrounded by toxic people can lead to negativity and it's best to just remove any negative energy out of your life - or fix it.

Get outside
Step away from your phone, your computer, your desk and get outside more. Walk, capture moments with a camera, chat and drink coffee, just enjoy being out in the world.

Step out of your comfort zone
Do something that makes your belly turn, whether it's doing a zip wire or travelling for the first time. It may be the best decision you ever made and you may discover something new to love.

Always have something to look forward to
This again is where a diary comes in, looking at the events and get-togethers coming up gives you something to look forward to. No matter how small.

Save money
This year I have spent so much money of food and unfortunately I'm not ready to let this go. Zizzi's half price offers will have to do - I can't let go of the Fonduta al Formaggi just yet. But if saving money is something you want to do, let go of something like your weekly takeaway coffees or set yourself a budget for the month.

Nap, always
Don't let go of the naps - treat yourself. Your body will thank you for it.

Saying no doesn't make you a bad person
Remind yourself that saying no isn't a bad thing. Put your foot down if you see something you don't agree with, have a chilled day - you probably need it and don't be a push over.

De-clutter
This is my favourite thing to do at the end of the year. I'm not the tidiest of people, but I love having a huge clear out, deep clean and de-clutter of my space. It may even be a good chance to get that minimalist wardrobe you've been thinking of.

We've got this.

  6. Personalised stickers are the best thing ever... They make any planner or agenda look way nicer to browse through and make it quicker to find any appointment/birthday or whatever you decide to use your stickers for, and also help to keep track of things you have to do on a regular basis, it's brilliant. I used to make my own with A4 sticker sheets and dad's printer but let's say they never looked that good. It's great to know that there are websites and apps that let you do that in a more professional way. I'll definitely keep that in mind for the new year.
