Slow Sundays At Chapel Porth

Jack and I have been getting out a bit more, exploring and taking photos. That was actually my goal for 2017, but I ended up doing the opposite, kind of abandoning my blog and losing my love for photography. Lately I've grabbed that love back; you may have noticed I've given my blog a little makeover, deleted a load of posts that I wasn't proud of and focusing more on just sharing my little adventures from time to time. I've also started a new Instagram, so if you want more snaps of Cornwall go and give it a follow!

Last Sunday we headed down to Chapel Porth, a beautiful place in St Agnes on the north coast of Cornwall. I even treated myself to the first pumpkin spiced latte of the year, and yep, it was just as good as I remembered. This Sunday however I've had a sleepy morning, sorting out life admin while I sway along to Dua Lipa tunes and sip coffee... It's been great.

It was really busy at Chapel Porth, probably because it was such a lovely day. It's not really a beach you can sit and relax on due to being so pebbly and small, it's perfect for a coastal windy walk though. We usually go up the hill towards a tin mine, but this time we headed for the opposite direction, up the cliffs to the most beautiful panoramic views. On our way back down to the car, we got ourselves a 'hedgehog ice cream' - clotted cream ice cream roled in hazelnut, it's always raved about but despite ticking it off our bucket list, it turns out we're not that into nuts.

What's your favourite way to spend a Sunday?
